On July 3, 2026, we continued our 7-day mid-year prayer revival, “My Seed is Delivered, My Seed is Blessed,” focusing on a core pillar of kingdom parenting: the divine restoration of identity. When the enemy successfully tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden, the primary thing stolen from humanity was our original image. Mankind was created in the likeness of God, and ever since the Fall, the enemy has attempted to provide a “counterfeit” identity to the world. Children today are caught in the crossfire of this identity theft, facing immense pressure to conform to world systems, which manifests as confusion, low self-esteem, isolation, and relational turmoil. Here is a summary of the spiritual strategies we deployed to break these cycles and restore God’s image in our households. Identifying the Clues of Identity Crisis We learned that identity confusion in children is not always explicit. As parents, we must develop spiritual sensitivity to recognize the subtle symptoms:  The Craving for Superficial Connection: When a child feels they do not “belong” or have no friends, they may frantically copy behaviors of peers just to feel “among.”  Self-Perception Distortion: Statements regarding physical appearance, dissatisfaction with their natural body shape, or a sense of being the “black sheep” of the family are often external indicators of internal spiritual conflict.  Destructive Coping Mechanisms: Ingesting harmful substances, self-harm, or binge-eating are often attempts to manage the turmoil of a fractured self-worth. Strategic Warfare for Identity Restoration Pleading the Blood of Restoration We established that Jesus Christ, our mediator, finished the work of restoration in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the Cross. We entered the throne of grace by the blood of sprinkling, which speaks better things than the blood of Abel. We used this blood to neutralize every handwriting of ordinance written against our bloodlines, canceling any covenants of limitation or stagnation.  Shattering the “Counterfeit” Image We aggressively canceled every negative narrative the world has pushed onto our children. We rejected the world’s standard of beauty, success, and personality, declaring that our children are not “distorted images” but masterpieces formed by the Master Designer. Every negative internal dialogue—the lies of being “weak,” “a failure,” or “not enough”—was uprooted by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Healing the Mind and Nervous System We specifically petitioned for the healing of our children’s mental faculties. We injected the blood of Jesus into their nervous systems, declaring that every fear-based belief system, anxiety, and trauma-driven thought is replaced by the mind of Christ. We decreed that their thoughts now align with the truth: they are fearfully and wonderfully made.  Anchoring Destinies in the Word We declared that our children’s spirits are alive to God. By emphasizing the Word of God as their primary nourishment, we anchored their destiny in what the Creator says they are, rather than what the culture says they should be. We declared them “trees planted by the rivers of water,” fulfilling their God-given assignments without delay or derailment. Before a child ever enters the world through their parents, they have a set alignment, function, and purpose in the mind of God. Here is a summary of the scriptural deep-dives, strategic prayer focuses, and parental sensitivity warnings brought forth during this shift. The Reality of Pre-Ordained Purpose Our foundational text was taken from Jeremiah 1:5, where the Lord declares: “Before I formed you in your mother’s womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Every single child carries a specific assignment from heaven. Yet, as history shows, not everyone who visits planet Earth successfully fulfills their pre-ordained path. To ensure our children do not carry their unfulfilled assignments to the grave, parents must move past “trial and error” parenting and actively partner with God to enforce the manifestation of their children’s destinies. The Burden of Sensitivity vs. Emotional Baggage Scripture illustrates how God explicitly reveals the scale of a child’s destiny to spiritually sensitive parents: • Rebecca (Genesis 25:18-29): When twins wrestled in her womb, she sought the Lord and received a structural revelation: “Two nations are in your womb… and the older shall serve the younger.” Despite initial appearances, she positioned herself to ensure the prophetic line bypassed Esau’s momentary compromise and rested securely on Jacob. • Samson’s Parents (Judges 14:1-4): Heaven issued specific instructions on how to nurture Samson from the womb. Yet, down the line, when Samson felt a divine stirring to seek a Philistine wife, his parents initially objected out of natural concern. The text reveals a crucial warning for modern parents: “His father and mother did not know that it was of the Lord—that He was seeking an occasion against the Philistines.” Parents must be incredibly careful not to let their own past emotional baggage, cultural definitions, or socioeconomic trauma hinder a child’s true spiritual trajectory. Rather than becoming harsh, rigid, or demanding that a child follow a specific career (e.g., forcing corporate or traditional paths), we must take our concerns to the secret place and ask: “Lord, why is this child adamant about this path? Am I standing in the way of what You are stirring?” Strategic Breakthrough Outlines 1. Neutralizing Ancestral and Bloodline Patterns Drawing from the law of tracking codes (“the life of the flesh is in the blood”), we recognize that atmospheric baggage, idolatry, and bloodline sorcery try to monitor and put limits on generational advancement. We stood on Numbers 23:23 (“For there is no sorcery against Jacob, nor any divination against Israel”), using the blood of Jesus to disconnect our children from every hidden handwriting, ancestral charm, or stagnation cycle.   2. Preventing Late-Stage Strategic Errors We returned to the sobering account of the priest Abiathar (1 Kings 2:26-27). Though he served David faithfully through decades of war, his late-stage alignment error with Adonijah triggered the manifestation of a historic family curse pronounced over his ancestor, Eli, generations prior at Shiloh. We prayed that our children will never enter into strategic, blind errors that activate old bloodline patterns or cut their destiny short.   3. Activating Spiritual Senses We made bold, corporate declarations over our own spiritual capacities as mothers, decreeing that our inner eyes and ears are wide open. We reject spiritual dullness, demanding prophetic insights, night visions, and clean direction from the Holy Spirit on how to steer our households daily. Daily Declarations for the Shift As we move through the rest of this revival, speak these words over your day: • My children will never fulfill the agenda of the enemy; they will fulfill the blueprint of heaven. • I am a spiritually sensitive mother; I will not be a hindrance to the manifestation of my seed’s assignment. • Every ancestral altar of limitation, stagnation, or early compromise tracking my bloodline is completely shattered by the blood of the new covenant. May 27 is traditionally observed across Nigeria as Children’s Day, a time of celebration, joy, and honoring the youngest members of our households. However, Children’s Day in 2026 carried a heavy burden of grief and urgent intercession. Approximately two weeks prior to this gathering, vulnerable schoolchildren and their teachers were abducted by armed men from a school in Oyo State, in southwestern Nigeria. The Power of Corporate Agreement When facing systemic or human wickedness, the Church cannot remain silent or isolated. Relying on scriptural mathematical synergy where one chases a thousand and two put ten thousand to flight parents from across the globe united in spirit at 6:00 PM CST (midnight in Nigeria). Recognizing that human political and administrative effort often proves vain, nonchalant, or complacent, the ministry focused entirely on securing divine intervention to move these children from peril to absolute safety. Strategic Warfare Prayer Points 1. Activating the Day of Trouble Response Drawing from Psalm 20:1-2, we petitioned the God of Jacob to answer the cries of a grieving nation in this specific “day of trouble.” We demanded a swift sanctuary response and defense for children as young as two to twelve years old currently held in the camps of brutal oppressors. 2. Demanding Divine Justice and Shattering Oppressors According to Psalm 72:4, the Lord of Justice (Yahweh Mishpat) is committed to bringing justice to the poor, saving the children of the needy, and breaking the oppressor into pieces. We invoked Luke 18:1-6, praying a strategic prayer of divine judgment—asking God to scatter, shatter, and blow away the 30,000 terror groups and their hidden high-level sponsors like chaff in the wind. 3. Releasing Warring Angels into the Enemy’s Camp Refusing to pray basic prayers of mercy for unrepentant, barbaric forces, we stood on Isaiah 49:24-26. The Word guarantees that even the prey of the terrible will be delivered because God Himself will contend with those who contend with us. We released warring and ministering angels into the physical camps of the abductors to cause immediate confusion, internal fighting, and total collapse of their strongholds. 4. Overthrowing the Sourced Backing of Wickedness We addressed the backbone and structural backing giving these actors the effrontery to strike civilian populations. We cut off their peace, safety, and source of momentum (Isaiah 48:22), decreeing an immediate repeat of Jehoshaphat’s victory (2 Chronicles 20) where surrounding enemies turned completely against one another until they were entirely consumed. 5. Commanding Victory for Believers Remembering how the early church’s intense prayer opened prison gates for Peter when Herod attempted to strike the leadership, we cried out for God to command sovereign victories for families and Christian communities currently targeted by severe persecution across the northern and southern regions of the country. In a world filled with shifting cultural norms, digital distractions, and competing voices, the physical protection of our children is no longer enough. There is a critical need to ensure their spiritual perception is sharp and aligned with divine truth. On May 13, 2026, Raising Watchers Ministries Int’l hosted its bi-weekly prayer meeting focused on activating and heightening the spiritual senses of the next generation. Parental Responsibility: The Primary Source of Truth While Sunday schools, youth groups, and church ministries are highly beneficial, the primary responsibility of teaching the Word of God rests on parents. A child cannot anchor themselves against modern anxieties, fear, or worldly information if they are not consistently exposed to scriptural truth at home. True faith is built through active engagement. Parents are encouraged to challenge their children during difficult moments by asking, “What does the Bible say about this situation?” Incorporating prophetic action grounded in Scripture can build historical markers of faith in a child’s life. Key Prayer Points for Heightened Discernment 1. Direction and Shielding across Life Seasons Based on Psalm 37:23, which declares that the Lord directs the steps of the godly and delights in every detail of their lives, we committed our children—from infants and toddlers to teenagers and adults—into God’s hands. We prayed that they would not be left to their own will, exploration, or confusion regarding identity, but rather be shielded continuously. 2. Amplifying the Divine Voice Scripture promises in Isaiah 30:21 that our ears will hear a voice behind us saying, “This is the way you should go.” We interceded for our children’s inner hearing, asking that the voice of the Holy Spirit be amplified in their hearts with clarity, while actively silencing competing, negative cultural or media-driven voices designed to derail or control them. 3. Illumination of Understanding Following Paul’s prayer for the church in Ephesians 1:17-18, we prayed that the eyes of our children’s understanding would be flooded with light. This ensures that their behaviors, attitudes, and choices reflect the spirit of truth rather than worldly error, allowing them to confidently choose good and refuse evil. 4. Spiritual Nourishment and Acceleration We prayed for their spiritual stamina, drawing from Habakkuk 3:19, asking that their feet be made secure and surefooted. We declared spiritual speed and divine acceleration over their development, careers, and goals, praying that the hand of the Lord would propel them forward without stagnation or delay, allowing them to outrun the limitations of their peers. A Declaration for the New Month As we step into May—a month representing grace and favor—we make this collective declaration over our families: Our children are led, guided, and protected by the Lord. In an age filled with distractions and “strange gods,” there is no greater gift we can give our children than to commit them to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Pattern of Jacob: No Strange Gods The central theme of our prayer was taken from Deuteronomy 32:9-12. The scripture describes how the Lord found Jacob in a desert land, instructed him, and kept him as the apple of His eye. Most importantly, it notes: “So the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.” Our primary cry for our children is that they would be led by God alone. In modern times, “strange gods” often take the form of: The deceitfulness of riches and material pursuits. The pressures of social media and cultural conformity. Addictions or relationships that pull the heart away from the Creator. Key Prayer Points for the Household 1. For Divine Instruction We prayed that the Lord would teach our children how to live. Just as David prayed in Psalm 27, we ask God to lead our children along the right path, specifically so they do not become “prey” to the hands of the enemy. When God is the teacher, our children gain a spirit of discernment to know right from wrong in complex situations. 2. For Generational Faith Referencing 2 Timothy 1:5, we interceded for a faith that is not truncated or cut short. We prayed that the sincere faith found in parents and grandparents would take deep root in our children, becoming a fire that they carry into their own adulthood. 3. For Spiritual Stamina in Trials Challenges are inevitable, but we prayed that our children would not “go to Egypt for help” when faced with famine or hardship. We asked for the grace of John 6:68—that even when things get difficult, they would recognize that only Christ has the words of eternal life. A Declaration for the New Month As we step into May—a month representing grace and favor—we make this collective declaration over our families: Our children are led, guided, and protected by the Lord. One of the most powerful lines in the Lord’s Prayer is also one of the most misunderstood: “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10) This statement is not religious language—it is governmental language. When Jesus taught His disciples to pray this way, He was revealing the heart of His mission on earth and God’s original design for humanity. God’s Original Design Was Kingdom, Not Religion From the very beginning, God’s intention was to extend His Kingdom influence on earth. “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1) “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.” (Psalm 24:1) God is a King, and every king rules over a domain. A kingdom is simply the territory over which a king exercises authority. God created the earth as His territory and humanity as His representatives designed to reflect His rule, character, and order. Jesus Came as a King As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, we must remember that He did not come primarily as a religious leader. He came as a king. “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews?” (Matthew 2:2) You cannot have a king without a kingdom, and you cannot have a kingdom without territory. Jesus came to restore God’s Kingdom rule on earth—not through force, but through surrender and alignment. What Does “Thy Kingdom Come” Really Mean? When we pray “Thy Kingdom come,” we are asking for: God’s rule to be established God’s authority to govern God’s ways to override human systems Every kingdom has laws, principles, culture, and benefits. The Kingdom of God is no different. To pray this prayer is to say: “God, govern my life. Govern my home. Govern my marriage. Govern my parenting. Govern my decisions.” This prayer requires yielding, not control. How This Prayer Transforms Homes and Families When families intentionally pray “Thy Kingdom come,” they are declaring: “Our home belongs to God. Our family is under His rule. His peace governs here.” This alignment produces: Unity in marriage Peace in parenting Order in chaos Clarity in decision-making At Raising Watchers, we have seen how praying this prayer intentionally transforms homes because heaven’s culture replaces earthly confusion. A Personal Reflection The first time I prayed this prayer intentionally was for my marriage and home. I began declaring that my family was God’s territory. Over time, we experienced greater peace, unity, love, and stability not because circumstances instantly changed, but because God’s influence increased. For many Christians, the Lord’s Prayer is one of the most familiar passages in Scripture. We memorized it as children. We recited it in church services. We used it as a closing prayer or benediction. Yet, for all its familiarity, many believers have never been taught why Jesus gave this prayer or how to use it intentionally. At Raising Watchers, we believe the Lord’s Prayer is not a ritual—it is a divine blueprint for how believers are meant to relate to God, live under His authority, and establish His Kingdom in their homes and families. Why Did the Disciples Ask Jesus to Teach Them How to Pray? In Luke 11:1, the disciples asked Jesus a profound question: “Lord, teach us to pray.” These were not unspiritual men. They were grown adults—fishermen, tax collectors, and professionals—who had been exposed to religion all their lives. They had seen the Pharisees pray. They had watched the religious leaders teach the law. But when they observed Jesus, they noticed something different. Jesus prayed with authority. Jesus lived with clarity. Jesus carried peace, confidence, and power. They realized that His effectiveness flowed from His relationship with the Father. So they didn’t ask Him how to preach or lead. They asked Him how to pray. The Lord’s Prayer Is a Pattern, Not a Script When Jesus responded in Matthew 6:9–13, He was not giving His disciples words to memorize. He was giving them a model—a framework for prayer that aligns the believer with God’s Kingdom, God’s will, and God’s provision. This is why Jesus said: “Pray like this…” (Matthew 6:9, emphasis added) The Lord’s Prayer teaches us: How to approach God How to align with His authority How to surrender control How to live as Kingdom citizens How to trust God for provision, protection, and guidance Why This Matters for Families and Children At Raising Watchers, our heart is to help parents raise children who are spiritually grounded, emotionally healthy, and rooted in truth.
